I paired this purchase with a digital gram scale which would allow me to weigh my dose so I could verify I was using the same amount of coffee each time.
I have been very pleased with the results I have been able to achieve and can contribute part of that success to the tamper. It has a very slight release once you hit 30lbs of pressure.
